My family and I have ordered several different items from LaRosa's. Their wraps are AMAZING!! Overstuffed and fresh, definitely better than expected. The roasted chicken is moist and seasoned well. We ordered a meal for 3 which came with 3 large sides. Mashed potatoes are homemade and well seasoned. The creamed spinach and stuffing were just as yummy. This place beats Boston Market by a mile!! We will definitely be back for more :)
First time eating here last night and wow, great first impression! The staff were so polite and professional. We ordered the family chicken meal and oh my goodness ALL of the food was absolutely delicious. Zero complaints! I look forward to going again and would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place!
Wow!!! Really fresh, clean and great comfort food. We ordered the half chicken with corn and sweet potatoes. I added some creamed spinach. Tasted really good. Chicken was tender and not dry. Will be back.
I have been looking for decent fried chicken on Staten Island for years. I am pleased to say that La Rosa has finally hit the mark!! Their crispy chicken is on par with some of the best I have had in Brooklyn and Harlem. I also highly recommend their Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes. The latter clearly stand out as they are made with real potatoes, not powder. Highly unusual for fast food!!
We have been waiting for the restaurant to open for ages!! But it was all worth it. Everything taste good but I love the most is their Mac n cheese side dish so creamy and cheesy. Just like Boston Market with more options and better taste. Great to just a break from the kitchen a day, get a nice wine to pair with the food and voila! 2 birds kill in one stone.
AMAZING!!!! Hands down BEST “La Rosa” on Staten Island. I get their fried spicy chicken sandwich and it is 1,000,000,000 better then Popeyes. Fresh ingredients, chicken is always freshly cooked and their service is so friendly. My son will not allow me to order anything else while I’m the area. The restaurant is so clean and organized and the service is very fast and polite.
If you like Rotisserie Chicken then dial this place up. The fried chicken is very good too. Similar to Boston Market but the store is spotlessly clean. Counter people are friendly and order is always correct . And —- they also do a Burger on the grill outstanding . Look into it. The sides are tasty (yellow rice/ Mac& cheese) . healthy wraps as a alternative as well. Great Coke machine with literally a hundred flavors but the cups are too small !
La Rosa Chicken has alot going for it. I order it when I get that fried chicken craving, and it never disappoints. Ive also ordered their fish sandwich/filet and it is surprisingly good. Also worth noting are their sides. Delicious mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, and vegetable offerings are all seasoned well and go great with their brand of chicken. I order via delivery, so can't testify to what the instore experience is like. Have to order through Yelp due to the store being too far from my place, so the long wait for delivery is understandable and as far as I know, has no reflection upon the establishment itself. If you're in the same boat, expect Yelp deliveries to take at least an hour, usually more. The quality of their food makes it worth the wait
